"Our aim is to provide excellent learning and training for the Tynedale Community, and beyond"

The Tynedale Virtual College is the Operational Project of the Tynedale 14+ Learning Partnership. It is a multi-campus approach to provide a wide range of vocational learning opportunities in subjects not previously available in West Northumberland . This collaborative venture includes the four high schools in Haydon Bridge, Hexham, Prudhoe and Ponteland, two further education colleges: Northumberland College and Dilston College, and Work-Based Training Providers. It is intended that this partnership will enhance community access, within reasonable travelling distance, to high quality learning opportunities across school, college and work-based training routes that will meet people’s interests and aspirations and will promote participation and attainment in learning.
