sixth form This is a three year project running from 2008 to 2011 with the aim of implementing a strategy to ensure that the needs of learners aged 16 to 18 with learning disabilities in Tynedale can be effectively met via partnership and collaborative working.

A wide Steering Group of stakeholders has been established to inform and monitor the project, which will seek to take forward recommendations made in the LSC funded report ‘A Virtual Sixth Form College for Tynedale’s 16 to 18 Learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities’ [2008], which is available to download here.
